Description: Delightful filled crust bars made with a buttery dough and topped with your choice of fruit. Perfect for a sweet treat or dessert.

Ingredients:
- Crust:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- ¾ cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 egg yolk
- Filling:
- 1 ½ cups diced apples, bananas, or other fruits
Instructions:
1. Prepare the crust: In a bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour and sugar.
2. Add the softened butter or margarine and the egg yolk. Mix until the dough is smooth.
3. Divide the dough into two parts and press one part into a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
4. Chop the fruit and spread it evenly over the crust base.
5. Roll out the second part of the dough and place it over the fruit layer.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is a beautiful golden brown.
7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
