A delicious and crispy tofu dish seasoned with a delightful herb paste, perfect for serving on its own or in a sandwich. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 2-3
Ingredients:
- Approximately 300 g firm tofu
- Oil for frying
- ½ dl rice flour
- Salt and spices (e.g., chili, paprika, grill seasoning)
- Herb paste (parsley, garlic, green chili, and olive oil)
Instructions:
1. Dry the tofu and cut it into large pieces.
2. Place rice flour in a plastic or paper bag. Add spices and salt.
3. Add tofu pieces to the bag and shake until the rice flour adheres well to the tofu.
4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the tofu pieces until both sides are crispy.
5. Add a few tablespoons of herb paste and toss the tofu pieces to coat them and allow the paste to cook slightly.
6. Fry for a few more minutes and sprinkle salt over the pieces.
7. Serve immediately, warm or cold, for example, in a sandwich.
