Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (red or yellow)- 300 g ground beef (or chicken)
- 1 dl rice
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 dl tomato sauce
- 1 dl grated cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or basil) for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).2. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
3. Chop the onion and garlic. Sauté them in a pan until soft.
4. Add the ground meat to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika powder.
5. Mix the cooked rice and tomato sauce into the meat mixture. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
6. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Stuff the peppers with the meat mixture.
7. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and sprinkle cheese on top.
8. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are soft and the cheese is melted.
9. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
