Serving Size: 4 rolls
Ingredients:
- Sushi rice
- Rice vinegar
- Sugar
- Salt
- Nori sheets
- Avocado
- Cucumber
- Carrot
- Tofu
- Soy sauce
- Sesame seeds
- Wasabi (optional)
- Ginger (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions. Rinse the rice under cold water before cooking.
2. In a bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Add this mixture to the cooked rice and gently combine.
3. Slice the avocado, cucumber, and carrot into thin strips.
4. Prepare the tofu as desired, such as by frying or marinating.
5. Place a nori sheet on a sushi mat, shiny side down.
6. Evenly spread the rice over the nori, leaving about 2 cm at the top edge.
7. Place the vegetables and tofu in the center of the rice.
8. Roll the sushi tightly using the mat, starting from the filling and using the empty edge to seal it.
9. Cut the sushi into pieces with a sharp knife.
10. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
