A delicious Swedish pie combining the strong flavor of Västerbotten cheese, smoky sauna ham, and red onion. Perfect for celebrations or everyday meals.

Ingredients:

- 200 g butter
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 dl cold water
- 300 g Västerbotten cheese (grated)
- 150 g sauna ham (diced)
- 1 red onion (chopped)
- 3 eggs
- 2 dl cream
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Prepare the crust: Melt the butter and mix it with the flour. Add cold water and knead into a dough. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
2. Roll out the dough and line a pie dish with it. Prick the bottom with a fork and pre-bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 10 minutes.
3. In a bowl, mix the grated Västerbotten cheese, sauna ham, red onion, eggs, and cream. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Pour the filling over the pre-baked crust and bake the pie at 200°C (392°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
5. Allow the pie to cool slightly before serving.
