Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (spaghetti or fusilli)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 200 g fresh spinach
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until soft, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Pour in the cream and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved cooking water.
7. Serve warm and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
