A rich and creamy chocolate mousse that is perfect for any celebration and especially delightful for homecoming brunches. This treat is bursting with chocolate flavor and comes together quickly.
Preparation Time: 20 minutes + 2 hours chilling
Serving Size: 4-6 servings

Ingredients:

- 200 g dark chocolate
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 150 ml heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Allow it to cool slightly.
2. Separate the eggs into yolks and whites. Beat the yolks with the sugar until pale and creamy.
3. Add the melted chocolate to the yolk mixture and stir well to combine.
4. Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold in a pinch of salt.
5. Carefully fold the whipped egg whites into the chocolate-yolk mixture to keep it airy.
6. Whip the heavy cream and gently fold it into the chocolate mixture.
7. Pour the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
