Ingredients:

Buns:
- 1 ¼ cups warm water
- ½ cube yeast
- 1 ½ tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 ½ tablespoons melted butter
- 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
- 5-6 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
Meatballs:
- 14 oz ground beef
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup lightly crushed pine nuts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chopped parsley
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
Tomato Sauce:
- 5 oz tomato paste
- ¾ cup water
- 1 ½ tablespoons sugar
- A pinch of salt
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Sriracha sauce to taste
Additional:
- Sliced Parmesan cheese
- Arugula

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Buns:
- Mix warm water, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add melted butter and whole wheat flour.
- Gradually incorporate all-purpose flour and knead until the dough is elastic. Let it rise for about an hour.
- Shape the dough into desired bun sizes. Let them rise for another half hour, brush with egg wash, and bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 12 minutes.
2. Prepare the Meatballs:
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, egg, pine nuts, salt, parsley, Parmesan, black pepper, and olive oil. Let it rest for about an hour.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 10 minutes.
3. Prepare the Tomato Sauce:
- In a saucepan, mix tomato paste, water, sugar, salt, smoked paprika, and Sriracha. Cook for about 15 minutes.
4. Assemble the Sandwich:
- Slice the buns and place meatballs on top. Pour sauce over the meatballs, add sliced Parmesan, and top with arugula.
