Ingredients:
- 800 g potatoes
- 200 ml cream
- 100 ml milk
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 100 ml grated cheese (e.g., Emmental or mozzarella)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
2. Mince the garlic.
3. Grease a baking dish and layer some potato slices at the bottom.
4. Sprinkle part of the minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the potatoes.
5. Pour the cream and milk over the layer.
6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
7. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes.
8. Remove the foil, sprinkle the grated cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
9. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
