Ingredients
- 2 sweet onions with greens - 4 slices of bacon
- 1 clove of garlic
- Pinch of seasoning salt
- Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- Butter for frying
- Water for steaming
Instructions
1. Peel and chop the sweet onions and garlic. 2. Cut the bacon into small pieces.
3. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat and add the bacon pieces. Cook until the bacon is crispy.
4. Add the chopped onions and garlic to the pan with the bacon. Sauté until the onions are soft and slightly caramelized.
5. Season the mixture with seasoning salt and black pepper. Mix well.
6. Add a little water to the pan to keep the mixture moist. Allow to simmer for a few more minutes.
7. Serve warm.
