Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
- 300 g ground beef (or chicken)
- 1 cup rice
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- 100 g shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Cook the rice according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions until soft.
4. Add the ground meat to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and oregano.
5. Mix the cooked rice into the meat and onion mixture, then add the tomato sauce. Stir well.
6. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Fill the peppers with the rice and meat mixture.
7. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
8. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted.
9. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
