Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (red or yellow)
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups water
- 400 g ground meat (beef or chicken)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup grated cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until soft.
3. Add the ground meat to the pan and brown it until fully cooked. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
4. Mix the cooked rice into the meat mixture and add the tomato sauce. Allow to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
5. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Stuff the peppers with the rice and meat mixture.
6. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted.
8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
