A delightful and healthy bread infused with grated carrots for added flavor and moisture.
Preparation Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Serving Size: 8 slices
Ingredients:
- 280 g all-purpose flour
- 140 g water
- 50 g grated carrots
- 25 g butter, softened
- 15 g honey
- 10 g yeast
- 5 g salt
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl or dough mixer, combine all the ingredients until a smooth dough forms.
2. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
3. Place the dough in a greased bowl and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
4. Shape the dough into a ball and let it rest for a few more minutes.
5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1 cm thick.
6. Use a wine glass or similar object to make a hole in the center of the dough.
7. Dust the top of the bread with flour and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
8. Create decorative lines on the surface of the bread using a bread knife.
9. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 225°C (437°F) until golden brown and cooked through, about 20-25 minutes.
