A delicious mushroom bruschetta that makes for a perfect appetizer or snack. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- Old bread (e.g., baguette or ciabatta)
- Fresh mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms or chanterelles)
- Garlic
- Fresh parsley
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Slice the old bread into 1-2 cm thick slices and place them on a baking tray.
2. Toast the bread slices in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
3. Meanwhile, clean and slice the mushrooms.
4. Heat olive oil in a pan and add minced garlic. Sauté for a moment.
5. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
7. Assemble the bruschetta by placing the cooked mushrooms on top of the crispy bread slices.
8. If desired, grate Parmesan cheese on top.
9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
