Ingredients
- 3 large ripe tomatoes, diced- 1 large red onion, chopped
- 1-2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 bunch of basil, chopped
- 4-6 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 baguette or French bread
Instructions
1. Peel and dice the tomatoes, red onion, and garlic into small pieces.2. In a bowl, combine the tomatoes, red onion, minced garlic, and chopped basil.
3. Add the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
4. Slice the baguette into thin pieces and lightly toast them in the oven or on a skillet until golden brown and crispy.
5. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the toasted bread slices and serve immediately.
