Delicious Stuffed Peppers

A tasty and nutritious recipe perfect for lunch or dinner. Stuffed peppers are easy to make and packed with flavor. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (preferably red or yellow)
- 300 g ground meat (beef or chicken)
- 1 dl pre-cooked rice
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 1 dl grated cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
2. Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds. Place the peppers in a baking dish.
3. Heat some oil in a pan and add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until soft.
4. Add the ground meat to the pan and brown it. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika powder, and oregano.
5. Stir in the pre-cooked rice and crushed tomatoes, and let it simmer for a few minutes.
6. Fill the peppers with the meat mixture and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden.
8. Let it cool for a moment before serving.
