A refreshing Greek yogurt dip with cucumbers and garlic. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 20 cm cucumber
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander
- 2 cups Greek yogurt
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Peel and cut the cucumber in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds using a small spoon.
2. Finely chop the cucumber into small pieces.
3. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the cucumber and let it drain in a sieve for about 10 minutes.
4. Squeeze out excess moisture from the cucumber and mix it with the yogurt.
5. Mince the garlic cloves and chop the fresh coriander, then add them to the mixture.
6. Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.
7. Refrigerate the tzatziki for a short time before serving.
Serve with fresh pita bread or alongside seasoned meats.
