Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 250 g fresh broccoli
- 200 ml cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Add the broccoli for the last 3-4 minutes of cooking. Drain the pasta and broccoli.
2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until soft.
3. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese into the cream mixture until melted and smooth.
5. Combine the cooked pasta and broccoli with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
