- 5 free-range eggs
- 50 g salami
- 50 g strong cheese (e.g., aged cheese)
- 2 large tomatoes
- Fried onions
- Sea salt to taste
- Chives
- Oil for frying
- Water (1-2 tbsp)
Instructions:
1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and add water, salt, and chives. Whisk the egg mixture well.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
3. Add diced salami to the pan and cook until slightly browned.
4. Stir in the fried onions and mix well.
5. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook on low heat.
6. Slice the tomatoes and place them on top of the omelette.
7. Sprinkle grated cheese over the tomatoes.
8. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the omelette is set and the cheese has melted.
9. Serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh chives.
