Penne Pasta with Blue Cheese Sauce

A delicious creamy penne pasta dish infused with fresh basil and crunchy walnuts. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 2 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g penne pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 dl fresh basil, chopped
- 150 g blue cheese, crumbled
- 50 g walnuts, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook the penne pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain the pasta, reserving a little cooking water.
2. In a large pan, heat the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
3. Add the crushed garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix well. If needed, add a little reserved cooking water to keep the pasta moist.
5. Stir in the chopped basil, crumbled blue cheese, and chopped walnuts. Mix until the cheese melts and everything is combined.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately while warm.
