A rich and creamy mushroom pasta dish, perfect for a cozy dinner.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g Pasta (e.g. Penne, large macaroni)
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, shaved
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 400 ml Mixed mushrooms (e.g. button mushrooms, chanterelles)
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions. Drain and reserve some of the pasta water.
2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for a moment.
3. Add the mixed mushrooms to the skillet and cook until the mushrooms are tender and any moisture has evaporated.
4. Combine the cooked pasta with the mushroom mixture, stirring well. Add reserved pasta water as needed to create a creamy consistency.
5. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the shaved Parmesan cheese and mix thoroughly.
6. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
