A delicious and colorful drink made from gooseberries and gin. Allow the flavors to develop over several weeks and enjoy this delightful gin infusion at festive occasions.
Preparation Time: 8-24 weeks
Serving Size: Approximately 2 liters

Ingredients:

- 300 g green gooseberries
- 300 g red gooseberries
- 250 g sugar
- 2 bottles (1.4 l each) of regular gin

Instructions:

1. Rinse the gooseberries thoroughly.
2. In a 2-liter glass jar, first add the green and red gooseberries.
3. Sprinkle the sugar over the gooseberries.
4. Pour in the two bottles of gin.
5. Seal the jar tightly and gently turn it upside down to mix.
6. Store the jar in a dark cupboard to infuse.
7. Turn the jar once a day for the first week.
8. For the following weeks, turn the jar once or twice a week.
9. After eight weeks, strain the gin and bottle it.
10. If desired, allow the gin to infuse for up to 24 weeks before enjoying.
