Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together, stirring until smooth.
3. Remove the pan from heat and mix in the sugar until well combined.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
5. Sift in the flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla sugar. Stir until the batter is smooth.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or serve with whipped cream.
