Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
3. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until the mixture lightens and becomes fluffy.
4. Pour the melted chocolate-butter mixture into the egg-sugar mixture and stir until well combined.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the center of the oven for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow the cake to cool before serving. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream.
