A delicious and filling wrap featuring seitan kebab, fresh vegetables, and flavorful sauces. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- Thin Bread/Pizza Base:
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
- 1 packet dry yeast
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 ½ dl water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Garlic Yogurt Sauce:
- 2 dl Turkish yogurt
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- ½ tsp salt
- Easy Tomato Sauce:
- 1 dl tomato paste
- 1 dl water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp sriracha (or to taste)
- Fillings:
- Seitan kebab
- Blue cheese (optional)
- Pickled red cabbage
- Red onion
- Other vegetables (e.g., lettuce, cucumber, tomato)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the thin bread/pizza base: In a bowl, mix the flour, dry yeast, sugar, and salt. Add water and olive oil, and knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until smooth. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
2. Make the garlic yogurt sauce: In a bowl, combine the Turkish yogurt, crushed garlic cloves, and salt. Mix well and refrigerate to allow flavors to develop.
3. Prepare the tomato sauce: In a saucepan, mix the tomato paste, water, sugar, and sriracha. Heat over low heat until well combined and slightly thickened. Remove from heat.
4. Roll out the risen dough into a thin layer and cook on a pan or in the oven until golden brown and crispy.
5. Assemble the rullakebab: Place seitan kebab, garlic yogurt sauce, tomato sauce, and plenty of vegetables on top of the cooked dough. Add blue cheese if desired.
6. Wrap the fillings tightly inside the dough and enjoy immediately!
