A delicious and nutritious rye bread perfect for any occasion. This recipe is easy and quick to prepare.

Ingredients

- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp syrup
- 3 dl all-purpose wheat flour
- 3 dl water
- 4 dl coarse rye flour
- 1 packet dry yeast

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients (rye flour, all-purpose flour, salt, and dry yeast) together.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the syrup and oil with warm water, mixing well.
3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the water-syrup mixture and knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes elastic.
4. Shape the dough into an oval loaf on a floured surface.
5. Cover the loaf with a cloth and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
6. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 30-35 minutes until the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Allow the bread to cool on a rack before slicing.
