Serving Size: 30-40 cookies
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 1½ dl syrup
- 400 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 650 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
Instructions:
1. Soften the butter and mix in the syrup, cloves, cinnamon, and ginger. Stir well.
2. In a separate bowl, crack the eggs and add the sugar. Mix until smooth and then combine with the butter mixture.
3. In another bowl, mix the flour and baking soda together, then gradually add to the dough, stirring until smooth.
4. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
5. Roll out the dough to a thin layer and cut into desired shapes.
6. Bake the cookies at 175°C (350°F) for about 8-10 minutes, until golden brown.
7. Allow to cool before serving.
