Delicious rum-flavored chocolate squares that combine chocolate, coffee, and rum uniquely. Perfect for coffee time or as a sweet snack. Preparation time: 45 minutes
Serving size: about 20 pieces
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder- 2 dl milk
- 1 packet powdered sugar (or slightly less)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 0.5 dl liquid margarine
- 1 tablespoon dark rum
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons strong coffee
- 3 dl sugar
Instructions
1. Whisk the eggs and sugar together until fluffy.2. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.
3. Gradually add the dry mixture to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk.
4. Stir in the liquid margarine, rum, and strong coffee into the batter and mix well.
5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish (approximately 25x35 cm) and smooth the surface.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes.
7. Allow to cool before cutting into pieces.
8. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
