A delicious dessert combining rich chocolate and sweet apricot jam. Perfect for any occasion! Preparation Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 12 squares
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 2 dl sugar
- 4 eggs
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 dl cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl apricot jam
- 100 g dark chocolate (for topping)
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool slightly.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until well combined.
3. Add the melted butter to the egg mixture and mix thoroughly.
4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until smooth.
5. Gently fold in the apricot jam until evenly distributed.
6. Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper (approximately 30x40 cm) and smooth the top.
7. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes, or until the squares are set.
8. Allow to cool, then melt the dark chocolate. Pour the melted chocolate over the cooled squares and let it set.
9. Cut into squares and serve.
