Serving Size: 4-6 people
Ingredients:
- 800 g potatoes
- 2 dl cream
- 1 dl milk
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 g grated cheese (e.g., Emmental)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
2. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
3. Lightly grease a baking dish and layer the potato slices in it.
4. In a bowl, mix together the cream, milk, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
5. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the potatoes.
6. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top of the potatoes.
7. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes.
8. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
9. Let it rest for a moment before serving. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley.
