Creamy Mushroom Pasta

Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms or chanterelles)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain the pasta and reserve a little pasta water.
2. Chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated.
5. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the mixture and stir. If the pasta seems dry, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper.
8. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
