Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli) - 200 ml cream
- 100 ml milk
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 150 g mushrooms (e.g., button mushrooms)
- 100 g grated cheese (e.g., Parmesan)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside. 2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown.
5. Pour in the cream and milk, mix well, and let simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir thoroughly. Season with salt and black pepper.
7. Stir in the grated cheese until melted.
8. Serve the pasta topped with fresh basil for garnish.
