A simple and delicious mayonnaise that is easy to prepare with an immersion blender. Perfect for various dishes and can be seasoned to your liking. Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: Approximately 200 ml
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 200 ml canola oil
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2-3 drops light balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- A little grated lemon zest
- Half a small garlic clove, minced
Instructions:
1. Carefully crack the egg into a tall and narrow container, ensuring the yolk remains intact.
2. Add the remaining ingredients into the container.
3. Place the immersion blender into the container, ensuring it is fully submerged beneath the yolk.
4. Turn on the immersion blender, keeping it steady, and blend until the mayonnaise has thickened.
