A delicious and easy-to-make Pyttipannu that the whole family will love. The sweet mustard sauce adds extra flavor and makes the meal special. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g potatoes - 300 g carrots
- 200 g onions
- 300 g ground meat (beef or pork)
- 2 tablespoons oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Sweet Mustard Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons sweet mustard
- 100 ml cream
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Peel and dice the potatoes, carrots, and onions into small cubes. 2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the diced potatoes. Fry over medium heat for about 10 minutes until they begin to soften.
3. Add the carrots and onions to the pan and continue frying for another 5-10 minutes.
4. Add the ground meat to the vegetables and cook until fully browned. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Meanwhile, prepare the mustard sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisking until smooth.
6. Serve the Pyttipannu warm with the sweet mustard sauce on the side.
