This creamy mushroom pasta is a delightful dish that combines fresh mushrooms with a rich and velvety sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms (e.g., button or chanterelles)
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
2. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown and the moisture has evaporated.
5. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and let it simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix well. If the mixture is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water.
7. Grate Parmesan cheese into the pasta and stir until combined.
8. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
