This delicious and festive dessert is a perfect alternative to traditional tiramisu. Without coffee, this version is flavored with cinnamon and brandy, making it a favorite at the Christmas table.

Serving Size: 8 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 egg yolks
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 500 g mascarpone cheese
- 1 tablespoon brandy (or cognac)
- 2 tablespoons brandy (or cognac)
- Biscuits (e.g., ladyfinger cookies)
- Cocoa powder for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, and ground cinnamon until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
2. Add the mascarpone cheese and 1 tablespoon of brandy to the mixture. Stir until smooth.
3. Lightly soak the biscuits in dessert wine or your preferred liqueur.
4. Arrange a layer of the soaked biscuits in a serving dish.
5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the biscuits and smooth the top.
6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone mixture on top.
7. Allow the dessert to chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight.
8. Before serving, sprinkle cocoa powder on top for garnish.
