Rosy Mulled Wine

A warm, spiced drink perfect for holiday gatherings. Preparation time: 30 minutes
Serving size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 liter red wine
- 200 ml apple juice
- 100 g sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5-6 whole cloves
- 1-2 edible rose petals
- 1 orange (sliced)
- 1 lime (sliced)
- 100 ml vodka or rum (optional)
Instructions:
1. Pour the red wine and apple juice into a pot.
2. Add the sugar, cinnamon stick, cloves, rose petals, and the sliced orange and lime.
3. Heat the mixture over low heat, making sure it does not boil.
4. Let the mulled wine simmer for about 20-30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend thoroughly.
5. If desired, add vodka or rum just before serving.
6. Strain the mulled wine into glasses and garnish with additional rose petals if desired.
7. Serve warm and enjoy the festive spirit!
