Ingredients:
- 2 dl sugar- 1 dl butter
- 4 eggs
- 4 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl milk
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 300 g vanilla cream
- 500 g Satin Ice fondant (vanilla)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).2. Cream the sugar and butter in a bowl until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then alternately add the flour mixture and milk to the batter, mixing well. Add the vanilla sugar.
5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, until the cake is done (test with a skewer).
6. Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
7. Spread the vanilla cream evenly over the cooled cake.
8. Roll out the Satin Ice fondant into a smooth sheet and carefully place it over the cake, shaping the edges nicely.
9. Decorate as desired.
