Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)- 250 g ground meat (beef or chicken)
- 1 dl pre-cooked rice
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 100 g grated cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Place them in a baking dish.
3. Heat a little oil in a pan and add the onion and garlic. Sauté until soft.
4. Add the ground meat to the pan and cook until browned. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika powder, and oregano.
5. Stir in the pre-cooked rice and crushed tomatoes. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
6. Fill the peppers with the meat-rice mixture and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
7. Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted beautifully.
8. Serve warm and enjoy!
