Chocolate Mousse

A rich and velvety dessert that melts hearts, perfect for any occasion. Preparation Time: 30 minutes + chilling
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 3 eggs
- 50 g sugar
- 300 ml heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave gently.
2. Separate the egg yolks and whites. Whisk the yolks with sugar until the mixture lightens in color.
3. Stir the melted chocolate into the yolk mixture until well combined.
4. Whip the heavy cream and add the vanilla sugar. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
5. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form, then carefully fold them into the chocolate mixture.
6. Spoon the mousse into serving bowls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
7. Serve with berries or whipped cream if desired.
