A delicious and hearty dish combining potatoes, anchovies, cream, and onions. This classic dish is perfect for festive occasions or everyday meals. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 kg peeled potatoes
- 2 cans of anchovies (250 grams)
- 5 dl cream
- 1 medium onion
- Spring onions (to taste)
Instructions:
1. Peel the potatoes and slice or julienne them into thin pieces.
2. Dice the onion.
3. Grease a baking dish and layer a base of potato slices.
4. Add a layer of diced onion and anchovies on top of the potatoes.
5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with chopped spring onions on top.
6. Pour the cream over the layered mixture.
7. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
8. Bake in the oven for about an hour until the potatoes are tender and the top is beautifully golden brown.
