Ingredients
- 250 g onions - 750 g potatoes
- 1-2 tsp anchovies
- White pepper to taste
- 200-300 ml cream
- Breadcrumbs for topping
- Butter
Instructions
1. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.2. Peel and slice the onions.
3. Heat butter in a pan and sauté the onions until they are soft.
4. Grease a baking dish and layer the potato slices and sautéed onions.
5. Add anchovies and season with white pepper between the layers.
6. Pour the cream evenly over the entire dish.
7. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and add a few knobs of butter.
8. Bake at 200°C (390°F) for about 45-60 minutes, until the potatoes are cooked and the top is beautifully golden brown.
