A delicious and simple tuna pie that's perfect for a weeknight dinner. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
Pie Crust:
- 150 g butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 3 dl all-purpose flour
- 1/2 dl water
Filling:
- 1 can tuna in oil
- 1 tbsp dill
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 eggs
- 2 dl cream
- 1-2 dl grated cheese
Instructions:
1. Prepare the pie crust by mixing butter, salt, flour, and water in a bowl.
2. Spread the dough evenly into a floured pie dish.
3. Drain the oil from the tuna and spread the tuna over the crust using a fork.
4. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs and cream, then season with dill and paprika.
5. Pour the cream mixture over the tuna and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C (about 437°F) for approximately 30 minutes or until the pie is golden brown.
