Ingredients:
- 4 ripe bananas
- 100 g sugar
- 50 g butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
2. Peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise.
3. Melt the butter in a pan and add the sugar. Heat until the sugar melts and the mixture caramelizes.
4. Add the bananas to the pan, cut side down, and cook in the caramel for about 2-3 minutes.
5. Transfer the bananas to a baking dish and pour the remaining caramel over them.
6. Roast the bananas in the oven for about 10 minutes or until they are golden brown and soft.
7. Serve the warm bananas with vanilla ice cream.
