A delicious and retro dish that brings back the vibes of the 80s. Perfect comfort food for after sauna or gatherings.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8 servings

Ingredients:

- 1 package of ready-made pastry dough
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 dl rice
- 4 dl beef broth
- 2 eggs
- 1 dl milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for frying
- (Optional: bell peppers, peas, or other vegetables)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
2. Cook the rice in beef broth according to package instructions.
3. In a pan, brown the ground beef and chopped onion in butter. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Combine the cooked rice with the beef mixture. Add any optional vegetables if desired.
5. Roll out the pastry dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving some dough hanging over the edges.
6. Spread the filling over the dough.
7. Mix the eggs and milk together and pour over the filling.
8. Cover the pie with another layer of dough and make holes in it to allow steam to escape.
9. Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is beautifully golden brown.
10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
