This delicious sheet bread is easy to make and is perfect as a sandwich base or a tasty breakfast. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 12 slices
Ingredients:
- ½ dl liquid margarine- 5 dl skim milk
- 1 tbsp fennel seeds (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 packet (11g) dry yeast
- 2 tbsp syrup
- 10 dl three-grain bread flour
Instructions:
1. Warm the milk slightly above body temperature. Add salt, syrup, and fennel seeds if desired.2. Mix the dry yeast with a small amount of flour to distribute it evenly. Add the yeast mixture to the dough.
3. Incorporate the remaining flour into the dough and mix with a sturdy whisk until the dough is homogeneous.
4. Pour the dough into a baking tray lined with parchment paper and smooth the surface.
5. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for approximately 25-30 minutes or until the bread is beautifully golden brown.
7. Let it cool for a moment before slicing.
