A delicious asparagus gratin that combines the freshness of asparagus with the richness of a cider sauce. Roasting in the oven enhances the flavor of the asparagus while keeping it perfectly crisp. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 500 g fresh asparagus - 2 dl cider
- 1 dl cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 tbsp butter
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). 2. Wash and peel the asparagus if necessary. Trim off the woody ends.
3. In a saucepan, simmer the cider for about 5 minutes until slightly reduced.
4. Add the cream and half of the grated Parmesan cheese to the cider. Gently heat the mixture, stirring until the cheese has melted. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Place the asparagus in a baking dish. Pour the cider sauce over the asparagus.
6. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top of the sauce.
7. Bake in the oven under the broiler for about 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
8. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the gratin before serving.
