A creamy and cheesy broccoli dish, perfect as a side or a main meal. Preparation time: 30 minutes
Serving size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 head of broccoli
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 package of strong cream cheese
- 1 cup light cooking cream
Instructions:
1. Boil the broccoli in salted water for about 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.
2. Drain the broccoli and transfer it to a baking dish.
3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the cream cheese with the cooking cream. Stir until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
4. Pour the cheese sauce over the broccoli in the baking dish.
5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the sauce.
6. Bake in the oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 15-20 minutes until the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Serve warm as a side dish or main course.
