A delicious creamy mushroom pasta that is quick and easy to prepare, perfect for a weeknight dinner!

Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 200 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. Chop the onion and garlic. Slice the mushrooms.
3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until golden brown.
5. Pour the cream over the mushroom mixture and heat through. Season with salt and black pepper.
6. Toss the cooked pasta with the mushroom sauce. Add reserved cooking water if the pasta seems dry.
7. Grate Parmesan cheese over the pasta and mix well.
8. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
