- Approximately ½ kg vendace
- 1½ dl rye flour
- 1-2 tsp salt
- A pinch of white pepper
- Butter for frying
Instructions:
1. Rinse the vendace thoroughly and pat them dry with paper towels.
2. In a plate, mix the rye flour, salt, and white pepper.
3. Dredge the vendace in the flour mixture until evenly coated.
4. Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
5. Fry the vendace in the pan for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and crispy.
6. Transfer the fried vendace onto paper towels to drain any excess fat.
